Two weeks, two days, and cable crunches, very controlled are back on the menu, along with some good old fashioned bench crunches as I test out the limits of the hernia repair.  Happy to report though, that coming along in leaps and bounds now, swelling gone down heaps, but there is till a biiiig scar underneath the skin, if I ever get lean enough to see abs again, it'll look like I've swallowed an egg whole I reckon!  But am able to train pretty much the whole body now, the only thing missing is chins still.

We visited trainier Teresa yesterday, and planned out the next few months, and it looks like food will not be on the menu!  Looking at seeing if we can get the weight down for Rarotonga and Wellington and qualify for the Nationals in the athletic division as well as physique.  I don't think I'll ever be able to compete with the BIG boys in physique, so, back to Athletic for me.  So some hard work and rations for me over the next 6 weeks!

Funny though, after swearing to myself that I would never do two shows in a fortnight again, I am going to go one better - three shows in six weeks, Rarotonga, Wellington, and then Nationals.  Ahhh well, whatever does not kill you makes you stronger or something!  Nothing like a good challenge anyway, for me and Teresa, to see if she can get me in decent enough condition three weeks in a row - Raro and Nationals obviously being the main targets.

Other than that, nothing much to report - Deano obviously focused on the Waikato NABBA show - a week from Saturday, so his nerves will be starting to play with his head, but all good, time has almost arrived, the excitement of your first competition, I am almost envious.  Almost!
